Custom Rebind Process

This is a broad outline of the steps involved in getting a custom rebind through me. Normally this process takes one to one and a half months from start to finish, excluding shipping times. That estimate also includes the shipping delays I sometimes get. Read on to see how this process works.

1): Browse through the portfolio and options pages to see the work I do and gather ideas for your rebind. Make sure to check out the pricing menu and Q&A page, but also feel free to message, call, or email with any questions you have.

Below are some pages you may find helpful for your brainstorming process.

2): Reach out to me so we can discuss your rebind. You can receive an estimate also by filling out the estimate form.

3): When your design is finalized, I will send out a final order form for your approval.

4): Once you approve of your order, payment will be requested. This payment is non-refundable, and covers everything except for major repairs, which are charged after I finish them at an hourly rate ($25/hour). You will also want to ship your Bible to me at this time.

5): Once I receive payment, I will order any supplies I do not have on hand, such as your color of leather, the ribbon, or the cloth. This ordering process typically takes 2-4 weeks. For more information on why I don’t stock these things, see the Q&A page.

6): Once I receive your Bible and the supplies I ordered, I will rebind it. I also take promotional photos of your Bible to help others see what a rebind can do for their Bibles. You can opt-out of these photos by simply asking me. It normally takes me around two weeks to rebind a Bible.

7): Once your Bible is rebound, I will ship it back to you. Once you receive it, you can enjoy your rebound Bible and spread the word!
